What are your observations/reflections about the artistic style, and the theological values it conveys? Do you have any favorites?

The artistic style is breathtaking. I love the colours and designs on the pages. Even the Arabic writing is elegant.
My favourites are the "Full-page floral composition marking the beginning of the Gospel of John (Yūḥannā)", and the "Painted floral tailpiece to the Gospel of Luke." I also like "The Crucifixion" depiction, because it is such a well known image, and I think the artistry of this particular image is well done.

I find the art very intriguing and beautiful. The artists who created these were very talented. I really had no favorite though.

The artwork is amazing. So colorful, so detailed. I've always thought the Arabic language looked beautiful. My favorite artwork would have to be the pieces at the very beginning of the book. They are super simplistic but I love how much detail there is.

As everyone else has said, the artistic style is amazing. The colors are incredibly vivid and the figures depicted in great detail. All of the images show a certain degree of ceremony and high regard for the Word. The images depict the stories well, as well.
Personally, I love the Arabic script itself. I also enjoy all of the floral embellishments.
In my opinion, possibly the most well done illuminated manuscript out of the 17th century. I think I prefer the Egyptian styling to the English styling of illuminated manuscripts. I think it conveys deep belief in the faith of Jesus and focuses primarily on his power as a healer. I liked 'the widow's offering' best.

These are breathtaking. It is very detailed. The colors pop out so you can enjoy it easier. The Arabic script is amazing. I did not really have a favorite though.

Indeed, Arabic calligraphy has emerged over the centuries as a superlative artistic medium in its own right, especially in connection with the Islamic sacred texts of the Quran. Works pretty well with the Bible, too!
