This is an interesting site. I feel most close to the Flamingo and Dove. Because I am trying to find balance in my life and I try to be a loving, gentle and peaceful person.

Very enjoyable exercise! I identify most with the Caribou, the Moose second. The joy in the animal spirit is being able to retain a small part of each. What about you Professor?

I enjoyed this sight and as expected I am closely tied to the wolf. I follow all their traits in my life.

Identified with polar bear, bobcat, hawk.
Interesting, and a good collection of many of the prominent animal spirits of different shamanic cultures. Would be fascinated to see them grouped based on culture, and a comparison of the characteristics of the same animal in different cultures made.

This is a really good site. I found my way around it pretty well and it was awesome to listen to all of the animal sounds. For most of my life, I have always admired Black Jaguars and Wolves, a lone creature but travels together in groups. And those were the two animals that really spoke to me.

I would say that I identify most with the Orca Whale and the Dolphin. I enjoyed this exercise and was very interested in the write-ups about the animals and their meanings within shamanism.

I find myself associating most closely with first the raven/crow and then the crane. As everyone has said, it is entertaining to read the write-ups and see where they go. I would be interested in learning the source for their information. Not that I doubt it, per say. But it would be interesting to look into their citations for the dinosaur and mythical creature sections.

Turnabout is fair play, Roxanne! Okay...

I must confess that I am drawn to the dromedary (single-hump) camel:

"Learning to walk in the shifting sands of time... Understanding the vastness of space... Transforming the burdens we carry...'

What's not to like? And aspire toward!

I have always felt close to the lion, a solitary individual that leads by example. The lion doesn't speak much but when he does it is a roar for all of the world to see. When I watched the Chronicle of Narnia movies and heard the roar of Aslan I get chills every time. The raw power of the roar shows a powerful spirit that fears little but protects everything.
